About this app

PiggyVest is the largest online savings & investment platform operating in Nigeria for over 7 years, with over 4 million registered users. Regulated by the SEC, Piggyvest gives you access to simple ways to save, invest, and manage your money.

How does it work:

Strict & Flexible Savings

Whether you want to be disciplined or flexible with your savings, PiggyVest provides you with the best options. You can choose to automate your savings daily, weekly, or monthly using Autosave, save towards multiple goals or as a group using Target Savings, save manually whenever you like using Quicksave, lock funds you don’t want access to for some time or would otherwise be tempted to spend, and earn interest upfront using Safelock, or build up emergency funds using Flex or save in dollars using Flex Dollar.

Invest securely with Investify

With as little as ₦5,000, you can access pre-vetted investment opportunities in commercial papers, real estate, agriculture, transportation, and fixed-income assets, according to your risk appetite, and earn up to 25% return on your capital per annum.

Security & Trust

Over the last 7 years, our users have saved and invested over ₦1,000,000,000,000 (trillion) with ease. We are regulated by the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Nigeria. We are NDPR compliant, and we use only the highest levels of Internet and Bank level Security.

Transparency

Never worry about your interest, it’s available monthly. Alerts show exactly how much you earned for the month, and how the interest rate is calculated daily. Depending on the savings plan you choose and the duration, interest rates range between 5% - 15.5% per annum on savings and up to 25% per annum on investments. No deposit fees. No monthly fees.

Customer Support

We pride ourselves on being one of the financial institutions with the most responsive and intuitive customer support. We also have a Self-help service in-app that can assist you with certain issues.

I've used it for two years now and honestly, I have no qualms yet. Further investment options like mutual funds and co would serve to make it an all round savings and investment platform, and there should be an opportunity to withdraw huge amounts (like 50k and above) in emergency without being charged because that just takes away from the money needed. We cannot predict emergencies so preassigned withdrawal days don't cut it honestly. A good app is one that serves the consumers needs, not just what you think the consumer needs. Other than these, It's a great app for savings.

Piggyvest does what it does pretty well. You can SafeLock a certain amount of money until a specific time and earn interest on the money. You can save in dollars, maintain a flexible account, and automatically save daily, weekly or monthly. The burgeoning investment section ain't bad either. On top of which the app is pretty cool. One of the best financial apps in Nigeria from a UI standpoint. You can easily get to what you want without having to rummage through myriad menus. 5 stars.

I enjoy the ability to be financially responsible especially with the quicksave option as soon as salary enters into my account. Sleek UI I also like the various investment options available, I would recommend that the investments that are no longer available shouldn't be shown in the list. And when you go to account options, the withdraw funds icon should be naira not dollars.
